Southward Car Museum
The Southward Car Museum on the Kāpiti Coast has a world class collection of vehicles dating back to the 1895 Benz Velo still in running condition. The display includes the memorable Micky Cohen gangster car complete with bullet holes as well as many other exotic, classic and unusual vehicles. With over 450 cars and motorbikes representing a timeline of transport through the ages along with many other associated displays and exhibits, the museum is a jewel residing in the picturesque Kāpiti Coast. The onsite coffee shop serves great barista coffee with a range of cabinet food and is a welcome retreat to recharge your batteries when visiting.
